**Rani** is a free, extensible service documentation platform.
**Rani** allows to create various types of objects and connect them hierarchically to build a documentation tree. While an object's basic properties are pre-defined, objects and values can be shaped individually to match specific needs of the documented IT landscape and create an individual service documentation tree. Rani provides a powerful API that allows developers to integrate new features and object types.
**Rani** is a .NET application written in C# and built upon the [[http://sand.robbiblubber.org|Sand Framework]].
